Joe's Meat Market

Been shopping at this butcher for years now and have had nothing but great things to say about them. Great service and a huge variety of meats with reasonable prices. Great work.

My husband bought a leg of pork from here on Saturday. The man serving him pulled off the price tag and the info with use by or date packed. We went to cook it this afternoon and it was off. We had lost the docket and because the butcher info was taken off by staff member, we could not return it. $35 worth of meat had to be binned.
This is the 2nd one in a few months. The last one was taken back and replaced reluctantly.
We will never use this butcher again. Not one I would recommend to anyone

Not a bad butchers located inside the Lake Haven Shopping Center - Joe's Meat Market is quite large and packed full of all manner of fresh meats - including ready made/ready to cook meat loaf - different flavours, a variety of different rissoles, marinated meats - chicken wings, Scotch Fillet, Steak Diane, ribs and lamb chops, frankfurters and a range of flavoured sausages. Along with the regular plain meats - chicken, roasts etc. I have found the staff to be very polite and helpful, the meat doesn't smell (like some butchers), the place looks neat and tidy, the staff are knowledgeable and they also sell bones to take home for dog :-)
