Glad there's a Filipino store in the area. I used to go to Cairnlea travelling from Doncaster! The shop is clean, organised and have a broad range of ol' time Filipino food. The shopkeeper is very personable and welcoming. The products are properly labelled, cheaper and of better quality in comparison to other Filipino stores I have been to in Australia. I also like the way they would put your purchases in a box. I'm one happy customer.
(1) Prices are ridiculously inflated compared to other Asian stores. A 10-20 cents difference is tolerable but for small items overpriced by a dollar is I think is utterly unacceptable. This shop needs to assess what other Asian stores have to offer and not ploy on the poor Filo's desperation for Filo products!
(2) Shop is cramped. It is so hard to move about in this store. This is not for the claustrophobic.
(3) Items on the shelves are not so organised. I turn to one shelf and I see Filo biscuits.. I turn to another shelf and unto another isle and I found more! (in ...read more
