I've noted that some people have absolutely praised this place, but I have to admit that I really can't join in the phrase. Maybe because it has changed a bit when I first came here, namely because they cut half of the pub and turned it into the Blue Bonnett cafe. It's a pretty grungy pub, and I have to admit that I like grunge, and being near two universities it does tend to attract that crowd. However the last time I came here I really didn't like it, particular with some of noise that was going on. Sure, the staff were pretty friendly, and the I like the grunginess of the place, however there was this really bad vibe when I came here (and I suspect that it may have something to do with the particular time that I was there, but I doubt I'm going back to see if it is any better at other times). Still, now that I think about it I probably should cut it some slack, and give it a three.
