Dr John Lam-Po-Tang is a consultant psychiatrist specialising in the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders and interpersonal problems. Treatment may include psychotherapy (including cognitive behaviour therapy or CBT) and pharmacotherapy, that is, medication-based treatment. Specific anxiety disorders treated include panic attacks, agoraphobia, fear of flying, fear of heights, social phobia, fear of public speaking, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and generalised anxiety disorder (GAD).
