Joondalup Fancy Dress

Absolutely disgusting service! I would not buy anything from the store as I would not support this person's business. My partner and I got insulted from the time we walked into the store. I have never received such shocking service and can't believe someone is running their business being so rude to thier customers. I was told "hurry up with your decision as I havnt slugged a blonde today and I'm about to " we must have only been in for around 8 minutes

Disgusting "service". They were insulting, aggressive and didnt listen. They told us "too much meat around your middle, youd never fit into those costumes". Told us what we wanted and what we "will do" and "no you wont be wearing that" etc. When we walked in they made us wait while they were on a personal phone call and there was a big red sign in front of us saying "answer your phone calls outside". Could not look around store it's all blocked off. DO NOT SHOP HERE

The person who runs this store is the RUDEST I have ever dealt with. We went in after a specific costume which they had. They brought it out, but put it behind the counter, and told us payment/hire options. My partner was about to give them a deposit when I asked if first we could please just have a look at the costume. My partner had mentioned that they had hired that particular costume a few years previously. They asked me why I would need to see it if they had hired it before. I just politely said I wanted to check it first (something which I believe is a perfectly reasonable request when hiring a costume).They told me that I wasn't being reasonable and just like that said that I could leave!!! It was very rude and abrupt and I would tell everyone to STAY AWAY. Their shop is also messy and unclean looking and they have a strange list of 'rules' out the front, including a request to turn mobile phones off before entering. All in all a terrible experience. I went in for a party theme, first of all i was told they didn't have any dresses no dresses not one. which i thought was a little odd secondly they actually just told me to go over to the shopping centre to buy one but it may be hard for my size! i am a size 10- 12 average girl that hasn't ever had a thought about my size until now i was so upset to be talked outright like that by a shop staff was really upsetting.

i quickly left and got so disheartened i went home straight away.

*WARNING* Please don't take young girls here they will come out with a complex on there weight and looks!!!

What a shocking experience!!

I read this reviews just before we got to the grumpy management, and it's so funny how correct they were!!!

The management was extremely rude and pushy!! They give you no options, forces you to buy their super expensive stuff! They practically said to us buy it now or don't bother to come back!! Ill be closing at 12! And it was only 10am



However around the corner there is another part shop place with fantastic customer service.

I was just thinking why on earth you have such a fun shop with such terrible personality!!
