Each week I will take you step by step through a series of exercises in basic to intermediate skills in a visual art diary. Then the second half of the lesson you will be continuing on your personal art journey in the front of your book. This is where you'll be encouraged to be creative and produce finished works that mean something to you.



You will experiment with my medias to get an understanding of art products. Once you've tried you can purchase and get your own kit together. You could bring pencil, rubber, sharpener, and anything else you think would be helpful.



Areas we will visit are



1. Line, how to interpret and how to find your style.

2. Light and shade to create form and depth.

3. Dynamic composition...balance, how to get the wow factor

4. Colour and design.

5. Media techniques

6. Collage and adding text.

7. Discovering you !

8. How to rework art crashers. No fail!!!!

9. Faces

10. Plain aire painting...out in nature



Cost is $200 for 5 x 2 hour intensive lessons. Please bring $10 to first lesson for your visual arts diary.
