If you have never painted before, are new to arts and crafts, or if you have done folk art before and are ready to lift your skills to the next level, there is a place for you at Julie's craft room.

About Julie
Julie has over 15 years' experience teaching all levels of folk art. Before that, she worked as a commercial artist and illustrator for many years.

Classes
Classes are run mornings and evenings on weekdays and weekends. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, with no more that six women in each class. What's more, there's always a cuppa along with some home baked goodies to enjoy while you paint.

A Variety of Choices
You can paint on almost anything wood, candles, glass, fabric, metal, old saws and of course canvas. Julie also teaches many different painting techniques. You'll be amazed at the talent you never knew you had.

Projects
Julie personally tailors each project to your skills and requirements. Then all you need do is trace the design and follow the step-by-step instructions. There's no rush, you simply progress at your own pace. And don't worry if you're not artistic, all you need is the desire to paint. ...read more
