I'm going to go for the top star rating here ..
it is a gentle and relaxed venue. The person who runs it - Vina - is so very nice and caring. The reason the place is shabby is because they don't have the money for "smart" .. but, so what? The place is clean enough and safe enough. The kids really don't care about how new anything is - they just want to have fun .. and here they can. - and it isn't expensive.
So, if you don't mind there not being an Audi or BMW in the car park but you do like things laid back and loving, then toddle the toddlers on down!
I don't normally write reviews, but I just had to write one for this place:
This place is possibly the WORST indoor play centre on the Northern Beaches! This place not only looked old and run-down - IT WAS! It was dusty and dirty (none of the equipment looked like it had been given a clean for a long, long time.) The foam matting that was covering the metal poles had been picked away by various children, and the jumping castle (whilst a reasonable size) was barely inflated.
I left feeling sorry I had paid $6.50 to get in.
There are better places on the Northern beaches like Sandbuckets in Narrabeen, Belrose Hotel and the one behind the Sea Eagles Club (forgotten the name).....
Funny, this is our favourite play centre! Yeah it's shabby to look at but we've been lots of times and the kids have never shown any ill effects.
What we like about it is the tables for parents in the middle, with the play equipment around the outside. You can always see your kid and the climbing frame isn't outrageously huge (only 2 levels, not 4!!!) so if they do get upset then it's easy to find them and get them down. The whole place is reasonably sized but it keeps the kids amused for hours.
The baby and toddler section is a good enough size to keep them happy and is visible from the tables as well as having seating in it.
We like Jungle Gym because we can relax & chat while the kids have a ball - from babies just walking up to school age.
If you like your play centres shiny, loud, big and busy then this isn't the place ;-)
