Jusco Supermarket

Someone use grocery to represent herself to line up in the queue and I asked her to line up, the staff directly help her put her grocery through scanner and do her job, completely ignoring my complaint. So I believe this supermarket does not need to queue up to check out. Extremely poor experience. I won't visit it anymore, for sure.

I purchased 3 x 2Kg bags of Golden Phoenix Thai Jasmine rice at the Jusco Supermarket in Carlingford about 6 weeks ago and had only used one bag till now. When I went to get another bag to open I noticed that it was full of live weevils (bugs) moving inside the 2 bags. I took it back to Jusco in Carlingford and spoke with a staff member to explain the issue and ask for a refund. The staff member simply responded that I had to have the receipt which I don't have because I didn't think that it would be important to keep a receipt of 3 bags of rice. I asked him then to call a manager and he said that there are no managers in the store on weekends and that it would not matter anyways because I don't have the receipt. I tried to explain that he should acknowledge at least that the rice they are selling have weevils in it and this can be a serious health issue for all his rice customers. One of the bigger asian grocery stores I've been to. They stock a good range of snacks, cooking supplies and frozen food. There is usually a table set out the front selling fresh fruit and vegetables, and I usually buy king oyster mushrooms and fresh shitake for $4 a carton.
