Just Be Yoga and Meditation offers quality classes supporting students to explore and develop their own yoga or meditation practice. Classes do not follow a 'one size fits all' approach or pre-developed course syllabus rather responding and working with students' needs individually and collectively as a group. No two classes are the same.

Yoga Classes

Just Be yoga classes combine Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles creating a dynamic and physically challenging practice. Classes develop postural alignment, balanced muscular action along with steadiness of mind.

There is an emphasise on integrating the many aspects of ourselves - physical, mental & spiritual. Students who practice regularly can experience increased strength & flexibility, mental clarity & wellbeing.

Meditation

Just Be offers a variety of options to learn meditation. These include 4 and 6 week beginner meditation courses, casual classes and workshops. All classes offer an introduction to the basic techniques of meditation. They help to demystify what happens when we meditate by setting out the skills we can use to develop and ultimately deepen our own practice. So so disappointed paid $187 for a term of beginner yoga, thinking it will be for a true beginner. Not so. The people who were in the class were unfriendly and they were obviously not real beginners, but did the class from term to term. The very fit and skinny girl who took the class seemed to not notice me and my limitations and the fact that I was a real beginner. She only asked me as I was about to walk out of the door if I had any medical conditions she should be aware of and got me to fill in their 'form' which is a joke. I am a plus size girl wanting to do yoga and be healthy... but this yoga school is awful. I have vertigo and high blood pressure, making many poses unreachable for me but this was not taken into account and three days after the class, my knees were so sore that it hurt for me to touch them. I felt embarrassed and belittled for even trying yoga and would never come back to this place again. Worst thing is, no one from the school has contacted me in ...read more

Hi Deb,

Your impressions of Just Be Yoga are unfortunate but wrong. Stick it out and you will find caring nurturing instructors and a welcoming community of yogis ready to accept and support you on your yoga journey.

I go to Lesley's yoga sessions to find time to come back to me as I get lost during the week in "Life".



Yoga has become a necessity for me to lead a balanced lifestyle. I feel rejuvinated and relaxed and find her to be a very calming person to be around.



Youre able to be yourself in this class and no one is there to judge your capacity. Recommend it to anyone!

I have benefitted and will continue to benefit from the practice of yoga under the caring and skilled yoga teacher, Lesley, at Just Be Yoga.

Yoga is a practice of exercise for the body, breathing, concentration and meditation for the mind. It is all encompasing and your whole being is involved and benefits from this practice.

Rapidly approaching 60 years of age I needed to try and regain lost flexibilty, balance and upper body strength and thought yoga may be the way to go.

Lesley and 'Just Be Yoga' came highly recommended to me by a family member who had been attending yoga classes for over a year.

I have been attending yoga now for 6 months and am not disappointed. Slowly but surely my goals are being achieved. I have come to enjoy my weekly classes and look forward to the next one.

Lesley has kind and understanding way and her teaching methods are sympathetic and tailored to the need of the individual.

I intend on continuing my yoga classes and who knows one day I may even be able to touch my toes.

I would like to highly recommend 'Just Be Yoga' to anyone who considering yoga for reasons for similar reasons to myself.
