I'm sorry to give a bad review here, but I've found Just Bytes absysmal. Their products are overpriced and the service is lacking, but even worse the owner once tried to refuse honouring a warranty. We purchased a computer which kept crashing. It wasn't a software issue, this happened even if we tried reformatting completely. It turned out to be a faulty RAM chip. The owner insisted that "somehow" a virus had "burned itself onto the RAM chip" and therefore it wasn't a warranty issue. I asked him how such a thing could be possible, given RAM is volatile. His reply was "How are crop circles possible? Yet they happen!"
I have to give Just Bytes a massive thumbs down.
I'm the current owner of Just Bytes, and would like to address the above. I can only presume that it was over 3 years ago that these issues occurred, as the owner for the past 3 years does not work in the business on a day-to-day basis.
We're certainly not a bargain-basement business, however we don't intend to be "overpriced".
And finally - the current staff would certainly not suggest that a virus could ever be "burned into" a piece of hardware...
