JY TILING & WATERPROOFING

We have just finished our third bathroom renovation with Joes team. They were fantastic. I homeschool my kids so we were always in the house and I really appreciated how tidy they were and how all of Joes employees acted with integrity and were good role models of hard work. They were super respectful of our environment and didn’t even bring a radio in so not to add to the disruption. All three bathrooms were completed to a high standard and every detail was satisfied. Joe is talented at his craft, is honest and a hard working man. I would recommend this company and can testify to its character.

Ill be honest, overall my job fell below my expectations. Joe is a really nice guy though, might just need to sort the finer details out.
Our floor tiles were nearly perfect. The fall on the shower drain was not quite right, but water still flows OK.
Wall tiles were very straight, but they were cut with an angle grinder and not a tile cutter so all the corners have jagged edges.
There was a heap of a lot of wastage on tiles, ended up using over 20% more than we anticipated.
There were also different shades of tile placed next to one another, which was really disappointing.
In the end, it wasn't really up to my standard, but I had to accept it. I was even left to clean up a mess left behind and get a plumber out to unblock my drains. For my next bathroom at least I know what to watch out for.

I was referred to JY Tiling by a friend and was impressed immediately by the attention to detail and ideas presented in the initial consultation. Joe did a fantastic job on something that required extra effort due to poor existing form work (we were tiling an outdoor area) and we love the outcome. You can tell he is a perfectionist which is exactly the sort of person you want working on projects in your own home.

I was very happy with Joe's expertise he was very helpful and professional and referred other trades that I was also happy with. JY Tiling & Waterproofing have just completed full demolition, professional waterproofing and full wall and floor tiling of my bathroom. The result is excellent and the workmanship exempelary. Joe and his team worked to schedule and discussed all aspects of the job and gave very good and honest advice which I appreciated greatly. I would recommend them to anyone interested in re-doing their bathroom.
