Disappointed! Been here before for dinner and was good however lunch today was terrible! Lunch bento box was a complete rip off, just rice with some old bits of meat with two very small vegetarian sushi bits. Service from older lady was also terrible. Will not be going back.
Whoa. What's happened to this place?
Once a friendly Japanese restaurant has now become a bit of a dive. The menu on the weekends designed to attract lunchtime shoppers and bring in some business has turned into a bad menu to make money. Basically it seems like they have it for cheapskates who deserve to eat a plate of no good food while the main menu is for those who want to pay much more. I'm sure the main menu which is great for dinner at Kagurazaka is still nice but I'm reviewing their attempt to break into the lunch crowd market and this Bento Box we had was the worst Box I've honestly ever had. This is a great Japanese Restaurant, it is cheap but the food is not - the sushi is always made fresh and the fish used is premium quality which melts in your mouth... Whether you dine in or take-away you will not be disappointed...
Try and gyoza and uyoko don (rice with chicken and egg) these are both great dishes!!
