Kampong Boy

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and decor was quite warming too, somehow forgot I was dining in hurstville! Perhaps I am too used to the generic Asian restaurants in this suburb. The service was polite and attentive and the food was pleasant. Only disappointment was the roti, far too oily! Overall I'll go again, craving the Hainan chicken!

Good service, good price , nice atmosphere and tasty dishes

Malaysian food seems to be in vogue as it is relatively new in the Sydney cuisine scene, and the opening of this restaurant brings further welcome diversity to the cultural melting pot that is Hurstville.

The menu includes the traditional favourites - Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Curries, Roti and of course satay, and the food is all very well prepared, presented and tasty. The portions are of a good size, and the prices are reasonable.

The serving staff are very courteous and accommodating which is refreshing. One thing to note is that the restaurant can get very busy during mealtimes so there can be a wait for a table.

Well worth a try!
