Kanangra
Kanangra is a colonial bungalow (circa 1920s) on 50 acres nestled in a hidden sun-bathed valley between towering sandstone escarpments, this former dairy farm offers old world charm and ancient natural beauty of mother nature. About one kilometre of Brogers Creek tumbles through moss-covered boulders and small cascades with waterfalls and deep swimming holes to form Kanangra’s western boundary. About 25 acres of pristine rainforest (including walking trails) are home to a vast range of trees including towering red cedars; three metre high tree ferns and Lilli Pillies. Wild orchids and birds nest ferns abound. Kanangra is also home to wombats, quolls and wallabies. Lyrebirds, black cockatoos, mopokes and whip birds compliment the many parrots, wood ducks, kookaburras and honey eaters, a nature lover’s delight.
