Bought from this crowd around April '08 and noticed we were charged full price and not what was advertised online.
They were rude when I questioned this and spent half an hour scouring the website for an escape clause. When they couldn't find one, they reluctantly refunded us out of "goodwill" and told us we had to quote the internet price before paying. They can keep their "goodwill" because we never bought the rest of our gear from them.
Was going to let this slide but unfortunately friends of ours just spent over $4000 with them and got a faulty tent and disgusting after sales service (if you can call it that). If only they'd spoken to us before going to this shop. I seriously hope that by writing this review I prevent some other people going through the pain. Believe me there are other retailers who will want your business and treat you with respect.
Exactly same happened to us however they did not refund us the difference saying we should have mentioned the lower price on their website before buying it at the register. Totally ridiculous! Horrible customer service. No need to buy from these guys when there are other professional business. Totally agree to your comment.
