cafe on picturesque part of yarra river bend opposite herring island, had a coffee here which was great (they use Bonsoy! have no idea idea why all cafes dont it is far superior in taste and health than all other soys) dont have a large size take away which was a little odd, staff very friendly

Great location and concept but poor execution. The food was INCREDIBLY expensive and the decor looked like it came off the hard garbage. That may be an intended design theme but despite this minor issue the staff were slow and dis-organised. I would not go back but rather save my money and have a picnic on the grass nearby. Just as quaint and a whole lot cheaper!

Could you believe this once used to be a toilet block?!

It is now an amazing indoor/outdoor cafe situated on the beautiful Yarra River surrounded by parks, bike tracks and the Herring Island, it is family friendly and the food is always superb.

I love this place!! Great food, great al-fresco location.

Love what they have done with the place. The cafe is well hidden and overlooks the yarra river. One little thing I love about this place in winter they offer you blankets if you want to sit outside. Try the avocado pide its divine.
