Good if you are looking for an affordable lunch, I also had the seafood with black-bean sauce, ample serve however it was a little flavourless. Maybe I expected a little more taste.
Really good service and interesting menu. I will go again and 3 stars is certainly not a negative.
Kao Kao might not be located at the busy end of this Koreatown precinct, but this restaurant certainly is a must try, especially if you are looking for an affordable, original Korean dishes.
We actually pass through this restaurant quite often, but it was only recently that we decided to give this place a try after we pretty much run out of new restaurants to try.
We were quite pleased that we chose this restaurant. Firstly, even though the place does not have a lot of space, they did not try to cramp it with plenty of tables and desks, so there are still a decent amount of space and breathing room.
Secondly, the staffs were very polite and friendly and we appreciated that a lot.
Thirdly, the $10 specials are also quite good. I ordered their seafood noodle with black bean sauce from the specials menu. It was a very unique, one-of-a-kind dish that was also delicious it definitely goes straight into my must-try cheap-eat list!
