Kappaya Japanese Soul Food Cafe

Second time around and still impressive. The menu is somewhat different from what We recalled. The food are delish, not too heavy even on a hot day. Friendly excellent and attentive service.

Great, honest Japanese food.

Reasonably priced, cosy rustic cottage-y set up, Japanese staff, Kappaya serves a different set of Japanese food than most. Forget the donburi, udon and the bento box. Bento box here is more of an art. Say hello to a selection of rice balls, organic tofu, imported Japanese teas, fried mix vegetables, sake & ginger chicken... They are delicious but less filling than the usual donburi or bento box. Cappucino and latte are exceptional.
