Bistro is closed and on weekends the only meals available rely on volunteers to cook them while food is donated by club members. Appalling bar staff who are lazy and can't be bothered serving people despite the fact there is virtually no one in the place. Will never go back as for the bowling side good luck with that it seems the club relies on pokies revenue more than anything else. A renovation would not go astray the place still has the furniture from the 70s.
Karingal is a very friendly and fiercely competitive Bowling Club. Whilst it has had it's share of highly credentialled bowlers come and go, it is the core member group that remains and always contributes to the success of the club. These members are the mainstay of the club's continued success and by and large, the envy of many other clubs that strive to emulate the success that Karingal has achieved.
From pennant to social bowls the Karingal Bowling Club, also known as the KANGA'S (contrary to an ill researched tome in the Leader 28/9/09) is a proud and high achieving group of men and women.
The Friday evening meals are a highlight at the end of a busy week for many members and coupled with gaming machines in the lounge area it is a pleasant social time.
The Bar Staff are accomodating and friendly and the complimentary coffee & Tea are never ending.
