OMG!!!! I went to Nickol Bay Hospital in excruciating pain around 7 pm early on the 3rd December. Once being treated by the wonderful Doctor & nurses at N.B.H I was allowed to go home as long as I went to my GP as soon as they opened in the morning as I had only just had a spinal operation a couple of weeks before. I made 6 desperate phone calls to god knows where, it certainly was not local and told the 1st taxi had been taken by another client, the same with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th taxi's!!!!!! However, I saw many taxi's belting down the highway to the centre of town empty! Now I am only presuming that because my fair would not have been more than $15.00 at 2.00 am in the morning that these taxi drivers just could not be bothered my fare worth their time! If any of you have ever had a back operation or injury, you will know just how painful & debilitating it is.
