Kasim's Indian Cafe

We ordered from this place recently on Eatnow website. We really wanted Indian for takeaway, however with my past experience its always been a bit on the risky side trying out a new place that I havent heard anything about or have eaten there before. We ordered Samosas as starters, for mains had the Lamb and Beef - Rogan Josh curry as medium, Vegetable Vindaloo as very hot and the Chicken Tikka Masala. I ordered also saffron rice and garlic naan with this. I found the home delivery service quite efficient, received a text message from them outlining that they had received the order. The delivery was within 30 minutes. To my surprise I was very pleased with the overall service and the dishes ordered. They were cooked exactly the way I normally like them, the only minor downfall was I found the samosa a little soft and the naan bread, but this could have easily been due to be placed inside a paper bag and with all the other food been rather hot may have caused this. ...read more

Average, i dont know why people are talking this up? i guess people dont cook very well anymore anyway butter chicken was bland and rice was undercooked have made better myself. Will not not be returning its given away but the

complete emptyness of the restraunt.

Very disappointing, my vindaloo had poor quality cuts of chicken and the spices were almost non-existent never mind hot. The naan bread was dry and overcooked, so much so that it crumbled. I would not eat here again even though I live nearby, and as someone who has lived in UK I know my Indian food.

If you love indian food then this is the place for you located on mason street Newport Kasim's offer great tasting genuine Indian cuisine that will leave you coming back for more.

Love this place - Great food - Friendly Service - Craved for it through my 2nd pregnancy. Was never let down.
