Great place! Great value for money, lots of complimentary items offered throughout the meal. Good quality ingredients- butter chicken was perfect, full of flavour and was eaten very quickly! The wait staff are great very quick and attentive. This place should be way busy than it was for a Friday night. The decor isnt modern but it isnt bad. As soon as you walk in you can smell the indian aromas in the area! very enticing. The home made naan bread was perfect as was the coconut rice. I will definately be returning, i have found my new favourite indian place in Frankston.
From the moment you walk in the door of Kasturi, you are greeted with an authentic Indian atmosphere. The sights and smells are absolutely splendid. The restaurant boasts a genial atmosphere with smiling waiters and a very polite host.
The food is exquisite.
For those who are apprehensive about trying Indian cuisine (or are like myself - apprehensive about eating hot food), I highly recommend the butter chicken with a side of steamed rice.
Naan bread for starters is a winner, my favourite, is original naan bread, although garlic, cheese, fruit naan is available. The original naan is delicious, not too overpowering like some of the others.
All in all, this place is definately worth a try.
