Kathleen Hall has over 25 years physiotherapy experience, developing a specialist interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy since 1986. She has held senior physiotherapy positions in the Departments of Thoracic Medicine and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre at the Prince Charles Hospital since 2003. Previous appointments include senior roles in Respiratory Medicine at the Austin and Repatriation General Hospitals (Melbourne) and Lecturer appointments in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy at both Melbourne and Queensland Universities.
She holds degrees in Physiotherapy, Post Graduate Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy and a Master of Social Science Counselling.
Her approach incorporates her counselling experience and focuses on improving patients self-management, self-efficacy and aims to facilitate better adherence to treatments.
