-Children's Medicine-

In addition to treating stress and musculoskeletal disorders, acupuncture and Chinese massage has shown to be helpful as a preventative therapy in building the immune system and also in the treatment of children's issues.

Children respond excellently to Chinese massage and acupuncture and tend to bounce back from illness with ease as their bodies are still developing and growing.
Some children's issues which I have treated include:
cough, allergies, asthma, headaches, fever, digestive upset and sleeping problems.

My previous experience is with children and young adults for over 4 years as a carer and educator. I have been an observer to the communication and behaviour in children's complaints over a range of ages and have been right there to watch the effect on their health and well being from factors including, the consumption of specific foods, seasonal illnesses, allergies and hypersensitivities, stress and abuse, bullying and neglect.

We also offer short Chinese Herbal Medicine consults for those who are not so keen on needles. The consult includes a 30minute case history followed by prescription of raw or prepared herbal formulas.
