As I traveled south from crescent head I approached "the donut" roundabout outside Port Macca, and this got my taste buds a tinglin'. No way was I gona drive past and not make the detour into one of my favourite kebab joints - Kebabs & Crepes. Now from what I can gather, this is a family owned and operated business. This could be the best price to quality kebab you can get; $8 will get you across the line here. And these suckers are big! Didn't stop me from getting 2 though. Salads are fresh, crispy and cool; a nice contrast to the hot, succulent chicken (free range?) Best kebab chicken I've ever had, I want to know the supplier personally. And the bread is nothing short of perfect: has those crisp patches throughout, yet still soft and chewy. Actually keeps its shape and holds all those runny juices at the bottom; which is no easy feat. One of the few kebabs I can eat and still look half presentable afterwards! Not bad!
