I've used these guys before but every couple of years a new owner/manager pops up. The first guy was really good, second was average. This current guy has no people skills. Wanted to know the complete history of the vehicle before he'd quote me for a basic service. If that's to 'up sell' me fine. They've lost me. I specifically wanted a price for oil change, grease and filter. That must have sounded abhorrent to the poor chap. Questions: - How many Kilometer's has it done (provided), who did you last service (Why?). Have you recently purchased the vehicle (Why?). Assumption : Mr customer you don't tell me what you need I'll tell you what you need and get ready to light up your plastic. Kedron Future guy. Get off your horse and listen to what's being asked of you. Not everyone wants the timing chain replaced just cause it says so in the manual. Phoned MIDAS. Answer. No problem. Here's the price cya Thursday.
I recently had a service done on the car and some performance brake pads fitted. There were some issues initially with the brakes, but when I took the car back, the brake pads got replaced and rotors machined free of charge. So bottom line is, if you want an honest mechanic you can trust, go see Mark at Future Auto Kedron, he will look after you.
Awful. Ended up paying $250 for a new battery - which is absolutely crazy. The management doesn't seem too concerned about their customers, as long as they get their dollars. rather run some very expensive computer test($90), where normal mechanics would just check the battery. Won't ever go back and defo wouldn't recommend this place.
