Keen Angler Charters

Headed to Tasmania for a fishing trip off St. Helens and after searching through many charters & reviews, me n 2 mates decided to go out fishing with keen angler charters, the reviews could not be more spot on, Lionel and his crew are grouse blokes who provided us with the best fishing wieve all ever experienced, thank you again. I had been on many charters but have yet to meet a skipper as professional and experienced as Lionel, the boat is very well set up and new, we had full trust in letting him plan the day out and boy it was non stop, if we weren’t getting a bite for 5 minutes, we’d re-locate and be on again in no time, and this lasted all day. absalutly unreal. by the end we’d all caught heaps of fish, over 10 different species, and all cleaned ready to take home. Not your every day charter as it was just like going fishing with a couple of mates.

Highly recommend this fishing charter and would like to thank Lionel and his lovely team for making it the highlight of our Tassie trip!! It was truly an amazing experience and for having never caught a fish we did indeed catch plenty and they were absolutely delicious. Thanks guys for such an awesome day!!

Searched around for different charters leaving from St Helens, We ended up setteling on the idea of Keen Angler Charters. We were not dissapointed. We went on the half day charter, so we decided to stay in for the reef fishing. this turned into a great day's fishing, as soon as you dropped your line, you were on again. The skipper definately knew his spots, and told us how to catch the better fish that we were targeting.
We ended the day with a great feed of fish, Mainly Morwong, and a good size striped trumpeter as well.

Once again i went on a charter down St Helens @ the start of March & chose to go with Keen Angler once again. Once again and was not disappointed!!! caught many stripey tuna it was unbelievable... hands and forearms still aching from the effort!!! Very satisfied with the overall professionalism and service with Keen Angler Charters!!!
