Kenmore Village Coffee Lounge (Cafe Bliss)

Very nice atmoshere. Friendly people with pretty good coffee. A nice alternative to Bliss.

Auli23 must have had a bad day. If Auli23 had told them on their next visit I'm sure they'd replace it. As a regular and fussy Bliss customer for some 15 years I find them friendly and very customer focussed. Tell them how hot you like your coffee. Many people including this writer like it very hot. The barista can't read your mind, but they do learn regulars needs fairly quickly. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Bliss for remaining open during the recent floods and providing a degree of normality to us.

Coffees are charged at nearly $4 and for that cost you can order a Cappuccino and receive a flat, murky dark- coloured coffee that looks similar to instant Nescafe coffee. The coffee feels like its 90 plus degrees when you are holding it due to the milk being over heated by the barista, so you have to wait over 20 minutes to be able to drink the coffee to avoid burning your mouth. By that time all the milk froth which was flawed when initially given to you is flat and practically non existent. To top it off the lids do not fit on the take away containers properly and are not sealed resulting in spilt coffee on your clothes. This coffee ended up being poured down the sink. Do not bother going to this cafe if you are wishing to get a good quality coffee!

Simply lovely. Nice menu and friendly staff make visiting this cafe a memorable experience.
