The bottomless brunch here is fab. The space itself is industrial chic with heritage features, premium finishes and a very chilled atmosphere. The food was gorgeous, as were the staff who happily catered to all of us. It is the perfect place for brunch with the girls and in a great location. The cuisine is modern Australian with flare. The food is all gourmet and perfect for brunching!
My girlfriends and I went for a bottomless champagne brunch here and it was absolutely great. It was $35 for the bottomless champagne (2 hours - totally worth it) and the food was on top of the price, which i think is the best bottomless champagne brunch deal in Sydney. I ordered the oysters which was classy, simple yet so tasty. The service was great, the atmosphere made us feel very fancy and special,
Running from breakfast to dinner, this spot is pitched as The Old Clare Hotel’s everyday dining destination, down to supplying room service to the in-house guests. As you’d expect, the menu is wide ranging (though not dauntingly long) ticking off all the standard proteins, with some Paroo Kangaroo ($33) thrown in. The two dishes you shouldn’t leave without trying are ‘English Breakfast Tea and Toast’ ($14/2) and Vine Tomato ($16). The former, served on a dainty stand, combines a seamless wild mushroom consommé with tiny toasts dabbed with Gentleman’s relish and bone marrow; while the latter injects a whole tomato with burrata, and garnishes it with 25-year old balsamic vinegar at the table. While there is an imaginative cocktail list, they're SLOOOOOOWW to come to the table. Sweet-toothed fans will appreciate Cereal Killer ($18) combining Ketel One Vodka with Froot Loop milk, Aperol and apricot brandy, in a mini glass carton with striped straw.
This restaurant is located near Central Park. Run by Jason Atherton (hard to miss as his cookbooks scattered about!), this eatery has a cool vibe about it with high bench seating (some with view overlooking the open kitchen) throughout with a few normal tables as well. Service is extremely friendly when we walked in to try their brunch menu. They were quick to take our drinks order but did take a while to take our food order.
As it was brunch they had a few specials including a custom made Espresso Martini trolley, free flowing sparking for a set period of time, and scallop dish. Went with the Spiced Lamb Merguez, Eggplant, Baby Zucchini, Preserved Lemon, Yoghurt Dressing which was delicious. It was not too spicy which suited me! All ...read more
