I don't normally write reviews about services but I do believe a word of warning needs to be issued about this service. I rang today and made a booking after inquiring as to the cost of the session. The receptionist informed me that it was $30 for the consultation. When I made the booking and therefore showed up an hour later, I noticed the price list on the front desk was $45. I questioned them and said it was $30 for the consult and then $45 for acupuncture which was on top of the consult. I stayed for the session nonetheless having come from a long distance and was greeted by a staff in a white coat not long afterwards. They took me into her office and proceeded to take my details down. There was no history taken. ...read more
I think there's some miscommunications going on here. "The receptionist informed me that it was $30 for the consultation." A consultation is just that - a consultation. All doctors charge for a consultation, and then charge other fees on top of it for procedures and/or testing. I think you should had asked what services they offer and how much for each particular type. Asking for the cost of a "session" was very ambiguous. In this case, the receptionist probably interpreted as a diagnosis session i.e. consultation and told you the price for such. The treatment fee, which in this case was acupuncture, was charged separately.
I think if you were unhappy to be told before your treatment that it would cost additional money on top of the consultation fee, that you should have refused treatment and tried elsewhere. I've been in situations elsewhere where I don't get told how much a service would cost until at the end when I get handed the bill (talk about a shocker).
Great service. I walked in and they saw me straight away.
I received a thorough health check before my treatmet with someone who was obviously very experienced.
My treatment was excellent, I walked in with sciatic pain and walked out pain free. everything was very hygienic and clean...
I've booked in to go back in a few days!
