Kent Removals & Storage

I recently used Kent for a local move together with moving some of my valuables to storage. I have previously used Kent for over 20 years.
I could not believe how unprofessional and substandard the service was. Their Operations team is unprofessional- unhelpful and lacks any attention to detail. The moving day itself was terrible - stressful and I had no faith in the team that turned up.
My items to be moved to storage have "not been located " after 11 days of looking for them.
I will never use again.
Do not use Kent for any moving or storage services

I have used Kent Removals three tImes in the last two years. Kent are always reliable and helpful. Their attention to detail is superb.

We were very happy that we choose Kent for our move to Berwick. We had a lot of furniture to move requiring two trucks and two crews. The movers were all very professional and very friendly. They showed up on time and had the first truck loaded in three hours. The second crew also quickly completed the loading. The weather turned and the crews had to battle driving rain and hail when unloading. Their professionalism really showed. They were all very cheerful and quickly moved our furniture in and got us set up in our new home. I would highly recommend Kent to anyone looking a stress free move.

I'm quite disappointed with my experience moving furniture overseas from Melbourne to the UAE. The cost was not cheap to start with but I got stung by extra hidden costs with the local overseas agent. The local agent charged me a fortune to store my furniture an extra week until I could get the keys to my apartment. The "premium" insurance with "30 day Storage Cover extension for any unplanned storage" does not cover this of course. Talk about a misleading prospectus.
To make matters worse my nicest furniture got damaged and I did not get properly compensated due to the insurance excess.
With the extra charge, it would have been cheaper buying second hand furniture if I knew they were going to be damaged.
Would not use the Kent Removals services again and certainly would not recommend.

Kent Storage (Clayton).
They may well be a good name but in my experience the service in summary is very poor, very stressful and you will no doubt experience no accountability on their behalf (specifically from office ladies) whatsoever.

The office ladies seems to have grumpy attitude at best, and telling you that you are wrong and they are right - also at best. Very unprofetional and rude (I did not mention rude lightly here) and the money spent would have been better spent somewhere else. I am also mindful of negative feedback. However, at this particular instant I feel obliged...in an effort to helping others.
