Used them several times without a problem. Organised an air cond install, they turned up with the brand I had told them several times that I did not want. As I had specially taken a day off I said go ahead and install, had no choice. They smoked most of the time, left conduit in my guttering, which caused a leaf build up, wall bracket for outside unit was not level, wired it up wrong and spent time and phone calls trying to work it out. They came back to level the outside unit, it was unacceptable so I fixed it myself. Now, a year and a half on, there is a rattle in the inside unit that keeps you awake at night, had it checked by a reputable electrician who says the wall mount bracket may incorrectly fitted, he tried to fix but couldn't release the clips as he said it looks like it has been forced on and bent. It is sad I have had a bad experience with this company and therefore will not use or recommend them.

The service provided by Kev Hewlett Electrical is fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work without being ripped off. Rate was outlined clearly on the phone and work was carried out in a prompt professional manner.

Called for a quote. I was told $85 per hour and it would roughly take two hours so approx $200. I was happy to go with a local who lived close by. Two electricans arrived and it took 2 hours. They seemed to be working very slowly and walking back to their vehicle every 10 minutes. Total invoice was over $400 and credit card details were taken. When i asked about the difference I was told to call the office. Called the office (saturday) i was told I would be called back once they spoke to them on monday. Never heard back. Called on tuesday and was told I would be called back in 15 min once they arrived back. Never heard back.



In short was given a quote and amout was over double of that quoted, no explanation provided and never called back. I would strongly recommend not using this electrician
