This bloke is a joke!. He was contracted to attach a weather proof double power point on a masonry wall and connect the wires. There was no other wiring required, it had been done. He invoiced me for $274. When I tried to discuss this with him, he became abusive and obnoxious and threatened me. I have since spoken to a relative that used him and they too had been well overcharged. This bloke has obviously been doing it for a while. If you too are a victim of his contact me to bring a class action against him and put him out of business before he does any more damage, particularly against the elderly.
Hi I work with kevin and worked on that job with him, the cable that was there was 1mm lighting cable (power cable is 2,5mm) since no one could tell us where the wire was switched from it had to be traced out to make sure that the cable was protected by an 10 amp overload protection device such as a circuit breaker which took some time, if a 1mm cable was protected by a 20 amp breaker the wire could overheat and cause a fire we are not legally allowed to just attach a power point to any random wire sticking out of a wall we sign off and guarantee the safety of all our work and must adhere to all electrical laws and regulations.
Excellent Electrician!! Kevin turned up on time with a friendly can-do attitude and gave a very reasonable quote to fix some lighting (Kevin quickly diagnosed it to be a dimmer failure), and install two safety switches on the switchboard.
He completed the works quickly, efficiently, without any mess and provided a electrical safety certificate and invoice upon completion.
Highly recommended! - Will be using Kevin again for any electrical works that need to be undertaken.
