As a newcomer to the area, I was keen to support local small businesses. I finally had my 3 yr old agreeable to a haircut after many weeks of his adamant "no's''. I turn up to the appointment (with two small children and a pregnant mumma) and was told that they were unable to do it as the hairdresser was sick. I told them that they should have contacted me to let me know, and was told they didn't have my number. As far as I am concerned, this is poor customer service and they should have got those details off me when I made the booking. A courtesy call is all that was needed and would have saved me a lot of wasted time and I also could have tried to book him in elsewhere. Needless to say, I will not be taking my business there again. I am so disappointed in their attitude.
