After a hectic day (of delays) & arriving @ a nearby hotel just after a tour-bus full of new guests swarmed in, I was finally checked-in and got to KFC Docklands @ 9.53pm. A customer ahead of me was attempting to buy all of the remaining cooked items in the cabinet & negotiating with the male staff member... after they to-ed & fro-ed with a female staff member who was back-of-house (who I assume was the manager; & who tried to offer him 7 pieces and a few bits & pieces left over) for 5 mins (ie basically wasted time), they finally agreed to give him what they had left. As the male assistant packed the items, the female team member approached the counter to take my order. I wanted a Zinger Box which was not available (as they were closing @ 10pm) but was offered either popcorn chicken or nuggets instead (as they "would be cooked fresh in the deep fryer") & which they could "do as a meal" (ie add fries & a drink).
