Khai's Restaurant

Had a late lunch here after 2pm on a Sunday and it was about 70% full. It had the typical Asian cuisine and mid to low-priced ($8-12). Upon entering through the closed glass door (supposedly to keep the air conditioning in and flies out, it wasn't cool enough and I could still find a couple of flies - one later landed on the lip of my tea cup), the decor was nothing extraordinary and the lighting was a little dim - fluoro energy saver downlights were used. There were posters of various dishes with their prices all around on the walls. The seating arrangements were just adequate and not tight. The menu was quite extensive and made selection a little difficult, which was a good thing. The menu items consisted mainly of Vietnamese and South-East Asian (Malaysian/Singaporean) dishes.
