Kilberry Valley Primary School

We thought it was a pretty rough school. Lots of swearing in the playground. Principle seemed good but we had an issue where our son was in grade 2 and chatting during class. His teacher told him he had lunch-time detention and took his beloved drawing off him. Upset he sat down hard on his chair and said d**n, which was much better than what other kids were saying in the playground and not a bad word in our view. His teacher said that he called the teacher d**n. Seriously. How can you call someone that? The coordinator called us in to discuss his behaviour. We couldn't believe it. We explained it to them and they said that maybe he was having problems at home. Then they spent a long time drawing pictures, talking to us like we're children to explain why moving to a new school effects a child's behaviour.
