All reviews are good however, the website does not supply updated information to start with as other similar places do and, one has to kind of beg information and still not a proper reply. It is great pity that the couple appointed to be the host and hostess etc are not performing a professional job. This is sent with best intentions and in the hope that their website is reflecting 2021 fees and when pets are allowed or not as it seems all depends on dates. One wishes to have the full picture in order to make proper arrangements. So far not able to make a booking due to lack of information.
What a fabulous place to stay loads of things for the family to do, peaceful, quiet, great value for money with accommodation/camping tto suit all budgets, A few rules regarding dogs & speed, shame about the people who ignored these ruls made it hard for the staff
Thanks guys for a great time will bring my grand kids next time.
We have been holidaying at Kilcunda for 10 years, we absolutely love it, the location, the views, the friendly quiet environment. Our Park Managers while being very strict on Speed and Excess Noise, have a Duty of Care for all Holidayer. I am so pleased they are this strict as we have little people on the run that just don't look for anything except the Playground. Also there shut down noise time of 10pm suites us all. Dogs on leads only rule and controlled barking makes our holidays more pleasant. Anyone who breaks these Rules has to face the consequences even if it means being asked to leave the Park without a refund. I think we all need to respect each other especially when it comes to loud screaming and barking off the lead dogs at 11.30pm at night. Working with the Public is one challenging job.....keep up the good work to the Managers.
I visit this park at least 6 times a year, why because I enjoy all aspects of it the views, cleanliness, and the caring attitude of the staff regarding the safety of all their guests. I have seen people going so fast they raise dust and this at a time when the park was full of young families, some camping with children who could barely walk. Keep up the good work I'll be back
This Retreat is fantastic, the rooms were clean and well maintained. Upon Booking i found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We had a great two night stay. BUT...........
The arrogant other staff who was standing in the doorway when i drove up to hand my keys in spoilt the whole experience. I was informed that I was driving too fast along the roadway.
Fiction The other staff who has a bad attitude, said they were looking out for the kids.
Fact: There were no kids on the site as the place was full of older people who could only afford the accommodation.
Fact: It was also raining and no one was on the road.
Fact: I am 50 years old and DO NOT need to be spoken to.
Fact: The speed humps are designed to rip the bottom of your car out if you do speed.
Fact: I have a nine month old child in my car and would not speed for that purpose.
I will take my $350.00 and spend it elsewhere next time.
