Kilmore Trackside

This place was average. The food was actually pretty nice, at a pub/bistro standard. We were happy enough to eat there until we were rudely barked at by the person behind the bar, with absolutely no tact what so ever we were told we had walked through the wrong door to enter the restaurant section. Some of the staff there were nice enough, but most walked around with scowling faces, seemingly bored and not wishing to interactive with customers. I guess because they dont have to take your order they feel they dont need to put on a smile. I wont go back, but not because of the food, compliments to the chef. It would strictly be because of the unacceptable rudeness of the staff behind the bar. If you appreciate good service then I advise giving this one a miss!

Poorly run organization who hold no regard for the lively hood of horse racing owners and operators. They need to have a good look at the higher management and see if they are fit enough to take the facility into the future.

If your looking for a top quality meal,great service at a reasonable price you can't go past the Kilmore racing club.i have been eating there for over 4 years at least twice a month and I have never had a bad meal,not many restaurants can say that!!!
