Come and join the fun!Kindy Dance Time is a unique, dance programme for boys and girls aged 2-5, with locations across Perth and Melbourne.
Offering age-specific classes and a carefully designed syllabus it is the aim of Kindy Dance Time to instill a love of dance in children in a stress-free environment.
At Kindy Dance Time we believe learning dance should be fun and our philosophies aim to broaden a child's love of dance and music, through expert teaching, small classes and enchanting age-specific lessons.
Creativity, fantasy and of course fun, provide an undemanding introduction into the world of dance and Kindy Dance Time has captured the hearts of thousands of children in Australia since 2001.
Classes are divided into different age groups for toddlers and preschoolers, from 2 - 5 years of age, so that the key areas of development for each age group can be focused on. The Kindy Dance Time programme has enchanting, age related themes which engage the children and capture their imaginations.
Each theme runs for approximately four weeks, so that the children enjoy the familiarity of routine coupled with new challenges. Kindy Dance Time classes are fast-paced to keep young minds alert, and include the introduction to a wide range of dance and music styles, relating to the specific theme.
Musical instruments, props, song and free dance are incorporated into Kindy Dance Time, and also more structured dances which stimulate the development of coordination and motor skills. Children experience dancing in groups, in partners and on their own which adds great value to their social and emotional development.
Lessons include educational components, such as shapes, numbers or colours for younger children, and cultural awareness, anatomy or the environment for the older age groups.

As a somewhat jaded ex-dancer I was always reluctant to enrol my younger children in dancing from toddlerhood. My two older children had sampled the gifts of dance class in their school days but moved onto sporting endeavours fairly quickly. When my third child was born, I decided to give dancing another go.
We were thrilled to find Kindy Dance Time in our local Darlington. Not only was our little boy welcomed with open arms, he wasnt the only boy! In fact, the boy dancer ratio is excellent at all the classes weve attended testament to the fact that this is truly an inclusive programme. The curriculum is one of the soundest Ive experienced and I wish Id had such a solid start to dance.
