This is actually a pretty cool cafe, and a rather pleasant find in the city. I say that because a lot of the cafes in the city aren’t actually all that great, or charming, but this one certainly has some charm and grace about it. In fact, they even serve some pretty nice breakfast options, including one that serves beans, and proper beans at that. Yeah, it does get a little crowded, but it is actually quite nice.
Such a convenient location next to southern cross station, I would totally recommend the risotto here! It was a really nice roast capsicum flavour but I think the menu changes regularly! I got full just on the apple pie smoothie! The interior is really innovative, just look up to the ceiling.
Kinfolk Cafe is one nice place in the middle of Melbourne CBD that are often overlooked by the tourists but are frequently visited by the locals. Combining an aura between its old Victorian-esque vibe and a new post-modern art installations and furniture all across the shop, this place somehow gives a good example of decor clash synergy.

This place is special. On the coffee and food side, everything is great, everything is affordable. I have yet to visit and leave unhappy. But they also have many staff working as volunteers because, you see, the bulk of the profits go to help worthy charities. A cafe with a difference.
