King Fook Seafood Restaurant

We went there for a special occasion and had the set banquet dinner menu. The food was okay but the service was appalling. The food came out all at once but there was no service clearing plates. Plates stacked up, crab was not cleared. Had to ask wait staff to clear. The staff were disorganised. I had to tell them to clear the table and even when I did, they were slow in doing it. I ended up clearing the table and asking again for a wait staff to clear the table. The staff need training. They had no idea on how to serve. My sister stood up and the wait staff pulled her chair out and she fell on the floor. There was no communication or apology for what happened. Staff just stood there like a stunned mullet.

While the food was okay but not the best that I have had, the service was appalling and we would not go back there. We would like to spend our $1000 elsewhere.

Went there tonight and got the banquet menu for 6 people. Their service was so poor I could have gotten better and faster service at other restaurant. Our dishes arrived so slow and when they did they didn't serve us any rice and when we got the rice the dishes were already cold. The service was so slow and bad I've never seen communication so bad. All dishes were cold upon arrival. Also we didn't even get our dessert so we gave up and got the bill and left.

Old Chinese newspapers pasted on the wall, deep blue fabric lined seats and rich red walls, this is the new refurbished Chinese restaurant in Carlingford. The management has changed but the staff seem to be the same... This place has undergone a renovation and looks pretty modern for a Chinese restaurant. We ordered fresh lobster which was brought to us flipping in a bag... the next we saw of it was on a plate covered in deliciously golden ginger and shallot sauce.

The food came quickly and the staff for attentive. Come here if you are looking for a good night with family over some tasty food.

Terrible service. Ordered and waited almost 30mins for the first dish to arrive. Dishes arrived one at a time, and some were even cold. on top of that, the serving size was small compared to the price they are charging.



Tried to ask the waiters what was taking so long, they just told us they are not sure. Eventually they just ignored our table and didn't come within ...read more
