I commissioned them to make my wedding band in March '13, sent them photos and was clear about the design I wanted. I was charged top dollar for it. It took 5months to have the band ready and it was available a week prior to my wedding. It was nothing at all like my original request and when I took it back in October after my honeymoon, They decided I had 'changed my mind' about the original design and wanted to charge me $1200 to 'fix it'. I refused to pay and they stopped communicating with me until I had the NSW Ombudsman involved. Finally they decided to change it to how it should have been, and promised me I would have it back for Christmas. It's been a long 3 months back at the jewellers... It's Christmas... And I still have no wedding band. They did find time to yell at my husband on Christmas eve however to tell us that 'things like this take time'... I suppose when you're not being paid, nor value your customers it's not worth your time.
King Street Design have been my family jeweler for over 25 years . I've had numerous beautiful hand crafted jewellery items designed by myself and have been delighted with each piece they have made . The service , quality , price and craftsmanship of the goods is outstanding . I have recommended my family and friends and none of them have ever complained or been disappointed with the service they offer or any piece of jewellery they have been commisioned to make .
