Kings Lane Sandwiches

This was my go-to sandwich shop in the city for their large white-bread sangas filled with chilli chicken. Sadly they have now shut down. No more perfect sandwiches for me. :-(

My friend and I stumbled across this place by accident, after failing to realise that the shop nearby that we were looking for had already closed. Pressed for time, we saw this small takeaway-like shop and with beautiful aroma coming from it we decided to check it out.

Located in a modern-style building, the shop was quite intimate with waiting area at the front, open kitchen in the middle of the store, and an open backyard with large communal table for when you feel like eating in.

They serve sandwiches as well as other healthy options such as salads and brown rice with meat of your selection. I tried out their brown rice dish with poached chicken, red pesto, and green beans. It felt like home-cooked meal and tasted quite alright. The portion size was pretty good given and so was the price points.

I will definitely go back to try out their sandwiches.
