Kirra Surf Club is a small club, right on the beach at Kirra Point and has been a local meeting point for years. The club puts on a limited menu for $10 lunches and the fish and chips were good, the schnitzel went down well and the burger was great for the price too.
Cold drinks and happy staff... not a bad way to enjoy a lunch overlooking a great beach.
If you're looking for a great casual dining experience and value for money. Here's the place for you. I think we under-rate our surf clubs. Friends and I spent the morning on the beach and then headed to Kirra Surf Club for lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly and with courtesy and a smile. She accommodated our request for a terrace table. A hard ask usually, with no reservation. Our food arrived after giving us time to settle in and relax. The food itself was excellent and the portions large. I had cajun char-grilled salmon and greek salad which I thoroughly enjoyed. My friends opting for variations on the caesar salad which they too enjoyed. With some live music thrown in a pleasant surprise all round.
