Kit & Kaboodle Supper Club
Located in Sugarmill, Kings Cross' multi-bar venue, Kit & Kaboodle is known for attracting cool crowds.
As well as the drinks and food you'll also find DJs playing well selected music for the funky crowd.
For vintage glamour, kitsch design and a too-cool-forschool speakeasy vibe, head to Kit & Kaboodle in the heart of Kings Cross. It bills itself as ‘Shanghai Nights meets Studio 54’ and that pretty much sums the place up: think antique light fixtures and Chinese dragon statues. Cool club! It has 4 levels all with different music on each level. The rooftop is a great place to chill out with mates for a Friday night drink. If you feel like a boogie then the RnB room is recommended.
Bartenders are heaps friendly and also the hip dudes on the door are just as friendly!
Went back here on the weekend and have decided I will never go back. Management is a joke. Sent in a guest list 3 months before our event, specifying to be on the RnB floor only to be told there was 'no more room'. However, they let half of us upstairs with the wrong coloured stamp and we weren't allowed to swap or anything. So annoying when all you want to do is dance to old school jams and not be forced to try and move to trashy techno tunes. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Such a disappointment.
Good, but not great. Went here Saturday night and management and staff were all over the shop, with different coloured stamps for different levels. Tried to kick us off the RnB floor because we had the wrong coloured stamp, but didn't realise we were on the guest list, and didn't bother checking other patrons' stamps. Apart from the grump Matre D', the crowd was young, friendly and the drinks were delish - even the mocktails! Security was chilled and even had a boogie now and then!
