Kitset Kitchens

While we are happy with the appearance of our Kitset kitchen and bathroom vanity, there are a number of 'catches' that mean that Kitset is not necessarily as cheap as they may first seem! Pre-delivery, Kitset were super helpful and friendly, but customer service seemed to drop off dramatically once we had paid and received our delivery. Firstly, we were delivered a number of incorrect pieces, which we had to travel back to Kitset to replace (and which extended the time it took us to complete building the cabinetry). If you live in a rural or remote area, this would be even more of a pain. Although we managed to put together all the cabinets ourselves, we ended up having to pay someone to assist with the installation - I don't think amateurs should be installing heavy overhead cabinets without any guidance or experience (and the Kitset insruction book was lacking on detail to say the least!) What a great customer service! As soon as I walked into the store I got a nice hello and all the help I needed. I simply gave them measurements for my laundry and within minutes the drawing was done and I received a quote via email in next 2 days. The price was far better than others have offered and when I rang to change something, it was not a problem at all. I have received 2 phone calls to follow up on their quote and I am happy to go ahead with them. Great product range, too.
