The convenience of 24 hours is unarguably great. I have been here several times the night before a long flight to purchase a book for half the cost of what you would pay at an airport. It is a huge store, which is sometimes hard to navigate in the home/living sections. I have also found on several occasions with the women's clothing that they lack smaller sizes (8 - 10), so there doesn't seem to be as much choice. Staff often feel like they are no where to be found; however that is to be expected when visiting at late hours!
Maybe I arrived when it was fairly quiet, but I didn't have the same issues as Sean from Sydney. The young ladies in the fitting room were pretty helpful - sure they didn't go and get a bigger size or ask if I needed help, but you're really getting what you pay for. In my case it was a $3 tee so I can't complain. I self-checked out and was in and out in less than 10minutes.
Very unhelpful staff, often long queues, a really poor (newly enacted) return policy that barely meets legal standards - 28 days in advance is not a long time to buy a present for eg and if it's broken, bad luck matey. Staff unwilling to look past the textbook answer to qu's and think about it for a minute.
