Set on the banks of the Nowendoc River the camping ground is yours for total relaxation, peace and quiet, freedom and space. Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat has extra large grassy sites (unpowered sites), barbecue/fireplace on each site and immaculately maintained grounds, hot showers and flushing toilets, beautiful shade trees. One free bag of firewood, pay for extras. The river is ideal for swimming, canoeing (canoes for hire) and fishing. Choose either to "do nothing" or go and explore the many attractions in the Manning Valley area.Pets allowed at Managers discretion. Group bookings are negotiable. No eftpos services available.

The property advertises itself as “Total relaxation, peace and quiet” but our experience was far from tranquil. The camp has a policy of no generators for more than 1 hour, fair enough but this does not apply to the owners who ran an extremely loud motor water pump ALL morning. No explanation or apology was given to campers and when asked why this was necessary the owner became instantly verbally aggressive stating if “you campers want …(insert expletive)... water then you need to put up with the noise”.
To actually provide the “peaceful rural setting” they promote, the owners should consider an upgrade of their current very intrusive pump system.
Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat is a lovely riverside setting with good amenities and well maintained but we believe this maintenance could be less intrusive and provided with better grace.
